Rotary solenoids

MG_2773

Rotary solenoids are used to create simple rotational movements between two fix positions (final positions). Our rotary solenoids use a short-stroke-solenoid in combination with a ball retainer. These balls are conducted along an inclined plane and convert the linear stroke of the solenoid into a fixed angle of rotation.

Features:

  • Simple excitation (energize with DC voltage).
  • Fail safe due to mechanical reset with spring.
  • Short response time (ms-range).
  • High degree of efficiency, compact package.
  • High torque between 0,4 and 300Ncm.
  • Standard sizes and standard rotation angles.

Applications:

  • Optical shutter in laser devices.
  • Adjustment of apertures and filters for optical devices.
  • Switches in sorting facilities.
