Digital drive “Teach-In”
General information
A combination of a stepper motor with sensors, a driver stage, and a microcontroller functions as a positioning drive. The integrated angle sensor provides absolute position values of the shaft with a resolution of 16 bits. Through continuous setpoint-actual comparison, the actual position of the shaft is adjusted until the setpoint is reached.
Starting from the so-called “zero position,” which is defined by a reference run, two angular positions can be recalled. These positions are stored as setpoints in the drive’s memory and can be modified and saved via the so-called “teach-in mode.”
